The evening started out a little dicey, rain in the valley and snow in the canyon. We headed just a few minutes up the canyon in a closed down picnic area called Storm Mountain Amphitheater. With each step you sank a few inches down into the new, crunchy snow.
When the bride arrived, her 2 friends holding each end of her dress as she walked down to the reverend you could see the pure excitement on her face.
The ceremony was intimate and beautiful, celebrated by a bottle of champagne of which was the groom’s first drink. Laughter filled the trees as his face told the story of how alcohol never really tastes like how you think it will.
We spent the rest of the light pulling our props, and laughing while capturing each moment with honor.
I was so grateful to be welcome into their world for just a few hours. Congratulations to the bride and groom!
